First sign of winter

I am convinced it never snows in DC. I always get jeanlous when I hear that it is snowing in PA! It usually ends up flurring, icing or just plain old rain. It called for some sort of wintry mix this past weekend. I didn't believe it actually though.....until it did! It started snowing! Jack had to work all weekend, so I didn't even get to spend the lovely snowy day with him! It snowed all day until late evening. It was great! Here are a few pictures! I took them with our new camera.

I love this picture. I took it with our new camera and manipulate the colors. It came out awesome!

I love snow. It makes me happy. Hopefully we'll actually have a white christmas this year!
